An historic monument, the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse offers the legendary hospitality of a special region. Its thoroughly contemporary comfort subtly harmonises with the magnificence of the past. This is not an intimidating place – you will feel at ease.
The luxurious, elegant bedrooms and junior suites perfectly complement the mediaeval decor of this noble dwelling. All are equipped with contemporary bathrooms, and some have a canopied, four-poster bed, a Renaissance-era, monumental fireplace, a Gothic bed or a French-style ceiling. In the restaurant dining room, decorated with tapestries and shields with the château’s coat of arms, a hushed atmosphere reigns - revealing the magic of the premises. In the dining room or on the terrace, the chef offers exquisite meals in which the combination of dishes and wines symbolises the art of regional gastronomy.
