At the gates of the Cathar country, on the foothills of the Corbières, the 12th century site of the Abbaye de Fontfroide is one of the most lavish and best preserved sistercian abbeys in France.

This popular tourist destination welcomes more than 100,000 visitors per year.
The site includes a magnificent 3000 foot Rose Garden and a succession of Italian style terraced gardens.

The team at the Abbaye de Fontfroide spares no effort to make your events and activities absolutely unforgettable. There are several rooms ranging from 70 to 415 m2 used to host from 12 to 500 people depending on the required configuration: seminars, conferences, workshops or incentives, product launches, galas, cocktail parties, a reception or even concerts, film shoots and recordings. The completely renovated abbey restaurant, La Table de Fontfroide, can host up to 110 people inside and an additional 60 on the terrace. The restaurant provides a customised catering service accompanied by the Corbières “Terroir de Fontfroide” wine menu, a wine produced on site.

• As well as visits to the abbey, the site also offers guided wine tasting of the AOC Corbières wines and a visit to the Fontfroide wine stores.
• Stay in one of the high quality holiday cottages in the exceptional surroundings of the Abbaye de Fontfroide. The “Maison sur le Pont” is open both summer and winter.
