Château de Potelières

A historic site looking resolutely to the future

Potelières (Gard)

Château de Potelières Château de Potelières

Built on the Cèze plain, the 14th-century chateau is surrounded by landscaped grounds that include an 18th century Orangery, swimming pool, rose garden, fruit orchard and olive grove on a 130-hectare estate.

The castle was restored in 2004 to 3-star comfort and safety levels, and the large northern terrace was covered with a contemporary glass veranda in 2008, providing an outstanding view of the Ardèche mountains.

Strategic location
The Potelières estate is at the crossroads between the Gard, Ardèche and Cevennes, less than an hour from the major communication routes in the Languedoc and Rhone Valley.
Set in gently rolling countryside, the area known as “les garrigues” is well-known for its sunny climate and outdoor activities: canoeing, potholing, mountain biking, paragliding, ballooning, quad biking, motor sports, climbing etc. It is a peaceful place that lends itself to thinking, relaxation and team building.

An original concept: exclusive use
Chateau de Potelières is a haven of greenery that offers its guests the privilege of exclusivity. For a private or business event, clients have the free run of the building in which to welcome their guests or employees and can enjoy a full range of hotel and catering services.
The setting is refined, friendly and sophisticated, both inside and out. Service is professional and always personalised: the client’s activity takes precedence and the estate is laid out to suit the event: a meeting, incentive seminar, cocktail party, ceremonial dinner, wedding etc.
The professional kitchen is ideal for organising a cookery course or a wine or olive oil tasting seminar. Meals and breaks are prepared on the premises for up to 20 guests. Professional caterers are used for receptions.
