Château de Raissac
Built on the vestiges of a Roman villa by the river Orb, the chateau de Raissac conjures up the heyday of the 19 th century wine industry. The wine storehouses and cellar are located on the estate’s farm of Puech Cocut which dates from the 17 th century and adjoins the chateau.
A family firmly rooted in this 'terroir' rich in history
Since 1828 the same family has cultivated the vines and produced the estate’s wines. Christine and Jean Viennet contribute to Raissac’s artistic life, while their son Gustave with his wife Marie continue the art of growing vines and making wine.

Raissac has preserved intact its magnificent stables which today house its reception and guest rooms. You will also find there a fine collection in the ceramics museum and recent works by Christine Viennet, the talented lady owner of the estate.
