Génolhac
Leave the station and explore the lanes of the medieval village of Génolhac, against the stunning backdrop of Mount Lozère.
Climb the granite slopes, through forests of chestnut and oak, to reach the Col de Montlar, then the Col de La Coste.
There are numerous places to stop and admire the views over the valleys of Cèze, Homol and Luech.
Genolhac is a stopover on the Regordane Way, an ancient pathway connecting Nîmes to the Auvergne, once used by Roman soldiers and later by pilgrims en route to Saint-Gilles and Aigues-Mortes, port for the Holy Land.
