Climb the granite slopes, through forests of chestnut and oak, to reach the Col de Montlar, then the Col de La Coste.

There are numerous places to stop and admire the views over the valleys of Cèze, Homol and Luech.

Genolhac is a stopover on the Regordane Way, an ancient pathway connecting Nîmes to the Auvergne, once used by Roman soldiers and later by pilgrims en route to Saint-Gilles and Aigues-Mortes, port for the Holy Land.

See on the way :

  • The old lanes and medieval houses of Genolhac.
  • The relics on the Regordane Way
  • The viewpoint at Col de Montclar
