Aubrac Sud – Bonnecombe

The Bonnecombe pass is at the foot of Le Signal de Mailhebiau, at 1469 metres altitude (the peak of Aubrac) : the starting point for all the pistes of the Aubrac Sud Nordic Area.

Espace Nordique Aubrac Sud with its purpose-built pistes allows beginners and children to start nordic sports in complete safety. The most active will be able to enjoy grandiose landscapes from the forest pistes of Baronte and the treeless pastures dominating the Causses.

They will also discover the vast Aubrac plateau before which nobody can remain indifferent. This is an ideal place to stay for sporting days discovering the Aubrac district (spa La Chaldette, restaurant Chez Bastide,…) and Causses.

The warmer weather must have arrived on the Aubrac plateaus when the cows of the same name arrive to graze the pastures. At the end of May you can watch the transhumance.

A few kilometres from Nasbinals and in the heart of the region of the lakes, the majestic Déroc Waterfall awaits its many admirers who come to visit it every summer to find an attractive cool spot after a walk on the Aubrac.
