The Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc. The countryside varies from the rocky slopes of the Massif du Caroux in the east, with its mild Mediterranean climate, to oak and chestnut forests of Sidobre and Montagne Noire in the west. The Narbonnaise Regional Natural Park (Aude) extends to 100,000 hectares, comprising lagoons, plateaux and mountains (Clape, Fontfroide, Corbières and the plateau of Leucate…), with more than 3,000 species of rare birds, including bonelli and golden eagles. Tel: + 33 (0)4 68 42 23 70
