Palavas-les-Flots, a picture-postcard seaside resort and fishing village, has narrow winding streets and nestles between the sea and clear lagoons. It has fine sandy beaches, a sailing school, casino and amusement park. You can take a diving, fishing or pleasure trip by boat, or join an organised walk around the lagoons. The little tourist train is decorated in the style of local artist, Albert Dubout.
