Saint-Cyprien, with Mont Canigou in the background, is the furthest south of the new seaside resorts in Languedoc-Roussillon. It can offer hundreds of acres of widely-ranging sports facilities, including golf, tennis and sailing.

The port of Saint-Cyprien has the second largest marina in the Mediterranean and offers a wide range of services, in a friendly atmosphere. The port enjoys an outstanding geographical situation that attracts huge numbers of yachtsmen.

As you come down from the north, Saint-Cyprien is the last place on the coast where you can make a stopover before setting off along the rocky part of the shore. Approaching from the south, it provides shelter for those who are sailing up against the tramontane wind. At a distance of 5 nautical miles from the coves of Collioure, at the gateway to Spain, Saint Cyprien is a popular starting-point for a wide range of cruises (Cadaquès 30 nautical miles, Malaga 586 nautical miles).
