A native of the Aude region, Olivia Ruiz no doubt owes her fascination for music to her musician father didier Blanc.

The young olivia grew up in Marseillette, near Carcassonne and spent long, happy years in the family cafe.

These were happy times and the young singer, (who formed her first local group “Five” at the age of just 15) enjoyed early success...

" La Femme chocolat " has now brought out her 3rd album and once again carried off a " Victoire de la Musique " in 2010.
