The Languedoc-Roussillon wine-growing area, the largest in the world, spreads across 300,000 hectares (2,432,139 acres) of land and boasts 27 centuries of history! Impossible not to find a wine to one’s taste in a region renowned for its quality and its diverse soils. The contrast of Mother Nature and the exposure of the land are, for the most part, the key factors in this vast range of wines, now able to be grouped together under the “Sud de France” label.

In 2006, the Languedoc-Roussillon region created the Sud de France brand to identify and promote the local produce of Languedoc Roussillon.
