A forgiving climate allows Languedoc-Roussillon to welcome conferences and seminars, both national and international, in every season. Infrastructures fitted with the latest communication technologies in the towns, by the sea or in rural areas are available. Many organisations in the welcome and hospitality industry such as travel agencies and tourist offices specialising in business tourism contribute their professional skills to the organization of events ranging from 10 to several thousand participants.

These industry professionals offer, throughout the year, turnkey or ‘à la carte’ solutions, ranging from a simple hiring of space to the complete management of events (management of conference participants, exhibitions, accommodation, technical services, press services, post-conference organization etc). Conferences and seminars, bringing together a large number of participants are more suited to the infrastructures provided in the urban centres of the historic towns or in the coastal resorts. Smaller seminars as well as «incentive» groups can be organised in more convivial surroundings where work and leisure can be combined with the guarantee of the service level which these particular sessions demand. Evenings spent combining gastronomy and entertainment in unusual and exceptional locations will not be forgotten, where good-living and cultural heritage will enable all those involved in conferences to discover the wealth and authenticity of this region.
