The Aquarium in Le Cap d’Agde

The Cap d’Agde aquarium was created around two simple ideas: to allow visitors to have the closest possible look at the animals in their natural environment and for the sea-life in the aquarium to have the best possible conditions, thanks to the quality of the installations. The creatures, the events, in a word, the life of the aquarium, is only revealed to those who take the time to pause, to look carefully and to wait for this fascinating world to reveal itself.

The Seaquarium in Le Grau du roi - Port Camargue

You don’t just visit the Seaquarium – you explore it! Once you’ve discovered the Shark Tunnel – our main attraction – there’s lots more to explore; tropical tanks, tanks with jelly fish, Mediterranean fish, and a touch pool where you can stroke our ray fish. Last but not least there’s a giant pool with dolphins and seals. In the Musée de la Mer (Museum of the Sea) you can relive the maritime traditions of a small fishing village, which has become today an important seaside resort and the second Mediterranean fishing port.
