The Saint Adrien garden is one of the most spectacular sites in our region.

Situated between Pézenas and Béziers, the "Jardin de Saint Adrien" is a refreshing summer stop of magic and tranquillity which makes for a pleasant and relaxing moment to be at one with nature.

The real feat of the "jardin de Saint Adrien" has been in its transformation from a desert of stones into an oasis of greenery. The garden covers 4 hectares and delights in the contrasts of colour between the basalt rock and the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation.

Created in disused basalt quarries dating back to the Middle Ages, the "jardin de Saint Adrien" is the crowning achievement of 14 years of immensely hard work during which time Françoise and Daniel Malgouyres transformed and shaped this desert of stones into a heavenly place.

Four ponds filled with exotic fish are lit by the bright Mediterranean light.

The garden also boasts a landscaped area for classical music concerts.

This private garden is open from Easter to the end of October.
